I started coming to VARDĀN in Sept’16 for back pain treatment and have taken 5FMT sessions with supervised exercises. Before coming to VARDĀN I was unable to sit even for 1hr.I had stopped going to work and was not able to do any exercises. After taking sessions at VARDĀN now my posture sense has become better. But is in mode of recovery and I feel it will completely improve after few more sessions. I can only say one thing after so many years being in pain I have found a treatment which with its exceptional approach has helped me come out of my pain. VARDĀN is a doing great in the field of physiotherapy with good quality and standard.

I was diagnosed with scoliosis in 2016 and since then I went running pillar to post to different physicians, physiotherapists and chiropractors. What I realised after spending a bomb, was that the only effect was temporary pain relief. All that the medical professionals did for me was to perform the same tests and same treatment as they must have done to hundreds of people before me.

Then I heard about Vardan and how it cured people who had scoliosis. I met Jasroop, who is, for lack of a better term, God-sent for me. He was straight up, honest and told me that the curvature of the spine may not be healed but he will definitely cure me of the pain. Session after session, I could see how he kept track of me and my movements. He was very involved, and I could see how he really loves helping people. I felt that human touch, which was lacking in the other medical professionals, and I felt encouraged and empowered that I had someone on my team. Slowly but surely, I followed his advice and incorporated it into my lifestyle. His treatment for me was very personalised according to my needs and not some general textbook drills.

I am almost completely healed and my only regret is that I didn't find this man earlier.

I am coming to VARDĀN since 2014 after being referred by a friend for back pain treatment. Initially I started coming once or twice but when I started seeing positive changes in my recovery process my frequency of coming increased. I had twisted tailbone with deviated sacrum due to which I couldn’t sit for long hours. My core was also very weak. After taking sessions at VARDĀN it took lot of time for my therapist to activate my core and posture correction. I feel completely recovered from my back pain now but still taking preventive sessions and core strengthening exercises. Treatment at VARDĀN has made by life easy and stronger.

I came to VARDĀN with severe back and neck pain. Before coming to VARDĀN, I had visited many doctors to get my pain treated but everything they did was of no avail. I couldn't find solution for my pain with doctors as they neither have any treatment for muscular or nerve pain nor for postural misalignment. Then I got to know about VARDĀN from one of my friends and I visited VARDĀN for the first time for consultation and since then my pain level have been subsiding day by day. I am really swayed by the knowledge of physiotherapist at VARDĀN.

They are "aces". I got treatment and exercise sessions by different therapists like Jatin, Mamta, Abhishek due to my tight schedule and all of them have been extraordinary therapists. Each one of them have contributed in betterment of my pain to the best of their abilities. Let me be specific about Prashant and Jasroop who are the most dedicated and devoted professionals not because of their professional demeanor but also because they really want their patients to heal. They dont stick to a general protocol to treat their patients. But they customize the exercises and treatment as per the patient's condition. They have a knack for understanding problems and an empathetic attitude which help them in reaching the root cause of the problem. The knowledge and skills set that they possess is matchless to any of the therapists outside VARDĀN. Such therapists are invaluable assets for VARDĀN.

To be specific about Jasroop, his way of dealing with his patients is very different. His healing doesn't end at VARDĀN, he also ensures that he goes out of the way to help his patients in taking precautionary measures outside VARDĀN also. I am in awe of him and his skill sets. Everything he does is with excellence. The feeling of being in safe hands is something that I get from my therapist.

Not only I am thankful to my incredible physios but I am really thankful to Yogesh, Mohit, Ajay, Chandra and Shashank for being so considerate in arranging sessions for me in hour of need and special thanks to Prachi, Mitasha and Namrata for always been there to address my concerns and accommodating me by giving me sessions as per my request.

I am short of words to express my gratitude towards VARDĀN team in making me able to do my daily chores with ease. VARDĀN has actually proved to be a blessing for me.

I have been coming to VARDĀN since May’16 for my back pain treatment. Apart from me my entire family is taking sessions at VARDĀN for their ailments. We all are very satisfied with this treatment procedure. I have recovered from pain in just 6-8 FMT sessions and looking forward to take few more preventive care sessions. Thanks to VARDĀN.

Dr. Swati is an outstanding physiotherapist. I have been taking more than 20 exercise sessions with her and I am totally impressed with her knowledge and dedication. I suffered from severe upper back pain at the worst possible time during the lockdown. Right off the bat, Dr. Swati gave a treatment plan that cured my pain by 90% in just a couple of days. One of the things that sets her apart is that she is a great listener, and keeps accurate history of the progression of the condition - this made me feel comfortable and assured that I'm in the best hands. I would highly recommend her and wish her great success in her career.

I came to VARDĀN in 2012 when I was completely bed ridden and could only walk around with hand stick due to severe back pain. My back was tilted and I couldn’t even step forward. I was not comfortable for working on equipments. However, in 2015 when my doctor suggested me knee replacement surgery VARDĀN worked on building strength in me and prepared me for surgery. Post my surgery in April 2015 I took FMT sessions at VARDĀN for pain management post surgery. Today I feel confident to walk and do all kinds of equipment based exercises. I am able to do everything without hand stick. I am happy to have recovered from knee pain completely because of VARDĀN.

After the lockdown due to Corona, I used to feel fatigue and strained after my usual working from home. I used to have pain in the tail bone and also in the middle of the spine. But after the guidance and virtual sessions of manual therapy conducted by Ms Akanksha Singh from Vardan, I am now feeling relieved. These sessions helped me a lot to get relieved from the pain and now I don’t feel fatigue also rather feel fresh after the session. Ms. Singh really worked hard in guiding me. Thank you Ms Akanksha, Thank you Vardan.

I started coming to VARDĀN in 2012 post my back surgery. Initially post-surgery I was very weak and used to get exhausted easily. So, I started taking FMT sessions post-surgery and then cardiac rehabilitation for acute COPD issues which helped me a lot in my recovery. I am into profession where there is lot of work load and traveling involved. Post surgery my body system deterioration is very fast and I have to be careful about my exercise regime. However, after sessions at VARDĀN my stamina has picked up and I am able to exercise on regular basis with ease. My therapist (Divya) has worked a lot on me and I feel something is missing in my life if I don’t come to VARDĀN.

SRISHTI SHARMA

I have had a lower back problem for almost 22 years but it was never very troublesome or painful for me. However, around 6 years back, I started experiencing unbearable sciatic pain in my right leg. On consulting various orthopaedics, I was  told to be extremely careful due to the disk indentation in my L4, L5 and S1 vertebrae that was putting pressure on the sciatic nerve.

Initially, I took numerous physiotherapy sessions to control the inflammation and pain, and to increase some mobility in the body. But soon I realised that I needed something more in order to strengthen my back. I always aware that Pilates works very well in making the core muscles stronger but then again I just could not trust any Pilates instructor given my condition. That’s when I consulted Vardan.

I started taking sessions with Divya and we proceeded very slowly. She was very careful with the exercises that she made me do and monitored my progress carefully. I definitely believe that diet and exercise work hand in hand to achieve good health and that’s what I did. Along with my Pilates sessions, I continually consumed a wholesome diet of lean protein and good fats. My back became so strong that in the year 2017 I was able to do rafting for 4 hours in grade 4 rapids! Never had I ever imagined that I would be able to do any adventure sports and definitely not rafting!

My back is way better now than it was around 7-8 years back , sciatica is very much in control thanks to the FMT sessions I keep taking in between my Pilates. I’m now able to do very advanced exercises and some weight training as well.

Thanks to Divya and Vardan that my condition has improved drastically over the years and I’m able to lead an almost painfree. – Srishti Sharma

Radhika Lall

Dear All,

My mother, Mrs. Radhika Lall aged 72 years had been suffering from back-ache for the past 20 years which had been sharply increasing in the recent years, hindering her day-to-day functionality. We tried many different treatments in the past, including allopathic, homeopathic, yoga, physio-sessions at a reputed hospital, and certain traditional treatments from non-medical persons. No treatment provided enduring relief and, we thought we had exhausted all remedies. To alleviate the pain, my mother wore a "belt" around her waist and applied pain-relieving oils or ointments.

FMT was one of the best things to have happened to my mother. I learnt about FMT through a news report in Times of India sometime in early October, 2011 and distinctly recall one line, which said: "Bring us your failures"! There was a conviction in that article and, given the credentials of TOI group, I was instinctively drawn to this treatment and called FMT on the very next date to fix an appointment.

My mother's first consultation at FMT centre was fixed on October 4, 2011 and, Ms. Ekta Agnihotri was assigned to take charge of my mother. Miracle happened on the very first visit. My mother was asked to bend forward to touch her toes and, she could barely reach her knees, when her back-ache prevented her from touching the toes. Ekta then worked on my mother for an hour to release the muscles and clear up the faults and, at the end of the session asked her to repeat the step. My mother's hands glided down painlessly to touch her toes! And, my mother got instant relief.

My mother has had a total of 13 - 15 FMT sessions so far and, I have been accompanied her for all of the sessions. My mother could hardly stand or walk for 2 hours without putting on the belt, but after the first two sessions, she stopped wearing the belt. Her pain has almost gone by now, though at times it surfaces in small spasmodic doses, but it is not continuing and crushing as it used to be. My mother needs to follow an exercise regimen to sustain the results. The technique used by the FMT is fundamentally sound and attractive, as its non-invasive and as it attacks the real source of the pain by clearing the faults in the muscle and bone structure, rather than suppressing the pain. My mother had developed a visible slouch, and the treatment has shown remarkable improvement in her posture, as she stands more erectly and smartly.

My mother had another condition of more recent origin - what was termed as "grade 2 shoulder dislocation" - basically, she had severe pain in her left arm and its movement was nearly frozen. She has received extensive treatment for the shoulder pain as well. Whilst the pain has not completely gone, it is not excruciating and unbearable as it used to be and, her arm moves in a much wider range. She has recovered and hopefully, the residual pain will also go with the remaining treatment.

She is extremely happy with her therapist, the quality of treatment and professionalism at FMT centre. Ekta has worked very hard, diligently and thoroughly, motivating and supporting my mother to achieve the targets. She has a very pleasing demeanor, knows her job and exhibits a commitment and professionalism, which is commendable. She is perceptive in terms of handling a patient physically and emotionally and, the primary reason of our satisfaction with FMT.

Also, the entire support staff and management, including the senior therapists have been very nice, supportive and efficient. We were very appreciative of the cleanliness at the Centre, e.g. the sheets and pillows were changed each time before the start of the treatment, which I know, is not done even in the so called 5-star hospitals of Delhi. The appointments were meticulously kept and managed. We would get a reminder call, two days before the appointed date, which was so admirable.

My mother is very grateful that FMT has offered such excellent treatment without costs. We have talked about the centre to many people, who have approached FMT for appointments. A comment: talking to people I gauged that whilst they were convinced about the treatment, they found Rs.2500 per session rather high, even though they could afford it. I guess, it is question of prioritizing. I would rather pay for this treatment and achieve a pain-free life for my mother, than perhaps put this money elsewhere.

We are grateful to TOI for introducing this treatment and, hope that FMT (Vardan Centre) achieves tremendous success in India.

Best regards,
Anuradha Lall

I am taking treatment for back pain at VARDĀN. Would like to share my opinion about VARDĀN. VARDĀN is the only physiotherapy that I have known till now that looks into every possible detail of pain and the root cause. Therapists here follow proper techniques and treat you very well. Thank you for helping me.

One of the best decisions of my life was to take physiotherapy sessions at Vardan under Anshul. He has been able to diagnose my problems very accurately and has gone into a lot of depth in order to fix those problems. He had a valid explanation for every small problem that was causing problems to my back. He has been extremely friendly and patient. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for everything that he has done for me and for the time and effort he has spent in order to do this.

Regards,

I started coming to VARDĀN in June 2015 for the treatment of cervical spondylitis. I had immense pain in the arm that was triggering pain in my back and neck. I couldn’t stretch my arm and had tingling in my fingers. After FMT sessions at VARDĀN I am 95% fine. I have been trained on regular home exercises by my therapist.

I have been in the profession for 18 years, and after an injury last year I got a backache that just grew and grew. It hurt specially when I trained so I took a break from shooting, and even exercising. I went to other physical therapists, but their treatment helped only a little as the pain would return the moment I took up my rifle and got into position. It was clearly specific to my profession as there was no pain at other times. I got depressed as I thought my shooting career was over.

Then I heard about Vardan from a fellow Olympian. As you know, every sport has its own dangers. FM therapists told me the pain was due to misalignment and pressure on my vertebrae, triggered by my injury. It got aggravated when I got into my posture as the rifle is 5.5kg and we train up to 4 hours at a time! Initially even with FMT the pain would return, but slowly I could stand longer and take more shots. FM therapy, I realize is very specific, from analysis to treatment.

My therapist identified the exact spot on my back without even an X-ray – using just his hands – and treated it at its root! During and after my 12 sessions he gave me very specific exercises for particular areas to gradually strengthen my muscles and improve my posture. Now that I am pain-free, my head is clear, I feel so much more positive about my career – no question of quitting any more – and my whole life. And I am so happy that I didn’t have to go abroad for this treatment!

I came to VARDĀN in Apr’15 for treatment of neck & back pain. I have prolonged neck pain around 12 years old and back pain that started one year ago prior coming to VARDĀN. I had acute pain while sitting throughout the day. But treatment has VARDĀN has improved my ailment a lot. My therapist (Steven) worked hard on me since first day. Earlier sitting was a challenge but now it has improved a lot and I can feel recovery from pain.

I had started coming to Vardan 2years ago. I was bed ridden due to severe back pain before coming here.Post taking 3-4 therapy sessions at Vardan I got recovered.

To strengthen my body and core muscles post recovery I joined pilates. Now I have been taking posture correction sessions for both standing & sitting.

This is basically to avoid backache trigger again due to my lifestyle that is quiet sedentary. I realise posture improvement is important as I slouch & most of my work involves sitting for long hours.I find posture correction an integral source of treatment.

I started coming to VARDĀN with critical back pain which was well treated at VARDĀN. Now I come for treatment in my knee. I have osteoarthritis and have been suggested medicines by the doctors. Post treatment at VARDĀN my medicines have stopped and knee pain is almost gone. Thanks to VARDĀN for really affecting our lives in such positive manner through their amazing services and treatment.

I came to VARDĀN in Aug’16 for treatment of back pain. I already knew about VARDĀN as I had visited this centre sometime ago. Before coming to VARDĀN I had visited several places for treatment as I had regular stiffness in back and stretch in the spine. I am taking FMT sessions now pain has decreased a lot and I am in mode of improvement. I am hopeful about getting completely recovered as VARDĀN is one name in physiotherapy that I can trust on.
